Meet Blaire and Lai
The Southern Connectz
Hailing from Texas; Blaire Grew up with the love of cooking from the time she was 3 years old. She lived with her grandfather who was a cook in the US Military; so naturally she spent a lot of time in the kitchen with him. The love Blaire had for the kitchen and food prompted her to peruse a culinary career of her own. In 2013 she graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio’s Pearl Brewery, with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. After running several restaurant chains Blaire relocated to the Kansas City area in 2019...and that's when she met Lai.
Lannie was born in Jackson, Mississippi; but grew up in the Greater Kansas City Area. Raised by a single mom, she was taught at an early age the benefits of hard work. Her mom always said "the worst anyone can tell you is no so never be afraid to ask!" With that mindset she started to pursue various small business ventures from a very young age. Influenced by her southern roots, Lai has always had a passion for interacting with people. Her personal connections allowed her to flourish in those businesses and eventually lead her to form The DRIP Dispensary.
The DRIP Dispensary is a collective of like minded people that believe anything is possible. DRIP stands for DREAMS ROOTED IN PURPOSE. When you're walking in your purpose doors open. So when Lai and Blaire connected in 2019, she knew with her business savvy and Blaire's passion for the kitchen, they could truly create something special. For Lai it was truly a "No Brainer" and thus Kommon Centz Catering was formed in January of 2020.
